Pairing Your Hearing Aids with an iPhone (Apple iOS)

This is a general guide for Starkey, Widex, Resound, Signia or Oticon Hearing Aid Devices.

Enable Bluetooth

Go to Settings → Bluetooth and make sure it’s switched ON.

Open Hearing Device Settings

In Settings, tap Accessibility  → Hearing Devices.

Put Your Hearing Aids In Pairing Mode

Rechargeable hearing aids:  Place them in the charger, then remove them.

Battery-powered hearing aids:  Open and close the battery doors.

Your hearing aids will now be in pairing mode  for a few minutes.

Connect  Your Devices

Your iPhone will start searching automatically.

When your hearing aids appear on the screen, tap them to pair.

If you have two hearing aids (a binaural set), you will need to tap Pair twice.

Confirm Connection

Once connected, you’ll see your hearing aids listed under MFi Hearing Devices with the status Connected.
