Pair your Phonak hearing aids
Five quick steps for connecting Phonak hearing aids to your phone over Bluetooth.
Pairing guide
Pairing your Phonak hearing aids
Phonak
These steps cover most Bluetooth-enabled Phonak hearing aids. Have your hearing aids and phone within arm's reach before you start.
- 1
Enable Bluetooth
Open Settings on your phone, tap Bluetooth, and make sure the toggle is on. - 2
Put your hearing aids in pairing mode
How you do this depends on the model.- Rechargeable hearing aids: place them in the charger, then remove them.
- Battery-powered hearing aids: open and close the battery doors.
Pairing mode stays active for a couple of minutes. If your phone does not see the devices in time, repeat the action.
- 3
Open the Bluetooth menu
Stay in the Bluetooth menu on your phone and wait a few seconds while it searches for nearby devices. Some phones expose an additional Hearing enhancements setting you may need to allow. - 4
Select your Phonak hearing aids
When your hearing aids appear, tap them and confirm with Pair or OK. For a binaural set (left and right), you will be prompted to pair both devices. - 5
Confirm the connection
The hearing aids should show as Connectedin your phone’s Bluetooth device list. Take a test call or play a short video to confirm audio is routing through the hearing aids.
For the full Phonak feature set, including remote adjustments and program switching, install the myPhonak app from the App Store or Google Play after pairing.
